Council Members

January Council Minutes:

At the January 16th Council meeting it was noted that although membership has been increasing, giving and attendance are down. Council discussed plans for the financial discussion at the Congregational Meeting. Guy Ehler was thanked for his hard work in constructing the 2012 Budget.

The Social Room carpet needs to be professionally cleaned. Nursery School will discuss contributing to the cost at their board meeting later this month.

Safety concerns were raised about the poor lighting of the parking lot. It may be too dark for individuals attending nightly activities to feel secure getting to and from their vehicles. Due to budget issues only one light is currently in operation at night.

An accessible pew area has been created in the rear of the sanctuary to accommodate a wheelchair and companion seating.

Don Sachs and Ken Agren will work together to create an informational handout about the proposed “Burn the Mortgage” campaign to be handed out at the Congregational Meeting.

Everyone was encouraged to attend the February 12th Chili Cook-Off event. The evening will start off with entertainment from our own Praise Band, and Chris Druckenmiller.
